Description
Derek Davidson was born to perform. His musical ability and the chance to develop it before international audiences have brought him the success he deserved and enjoyed. His son, Rob, possesses the same ability and seeks the same life as his father. Rob’s twin, Ali, has equal ability but chooses medicine as her future. In Going Home, Derek’s story, and those of his son Rob and their musical troupe, follow the adage that it “is in giving that we receive our greatest gift.” When performing before wounded soldiers and patients in hospitals and assisted-living facilities, Derek feels as if God is working directly through him. Since the Davidsons’ work went to support the missions of charitable foundations, the more they gave to this type of audience, the more money their financial supporters contributed to the effort. Going Home, the fifth book in the BATH POND Series, continues the saga of one Depression-era farmer’s wish to be of immeasurable benefit to his fellow man. The benefit presents itself in the form of education of various kinds to assist others in helping themselves. It also continues the development of the internationally famous entertainer, Derek Davidson, and his son Rob. They enter into venues worldwide, all of which provide increasing funds to continue helping others at home through contributions from those who assist their work. Going Home puts an exclamation point on the central theme of the BATH POND Series: Giving is receiving!
