About the Author:
Author Tony Pann has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University and the AMS Seal of approval. He has worked with WUSA 9 in Washington, D.C., since October 2001. Before that, he spent eight years at WBAL in Baltimore, Maryland, and also worked at WCBS in New York. Tony has been seen on the nationally aired NBC "Weekend Today Show" and the "Weekend Early Show" on CBS. Tony's wife, Mary Ellen, is also a TV meteorologist, working at FOX 43 in York, Pennsylvania. (A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book supports local charitable efforts.)
