Description
Kate and Dane are at the prom. Kate must choose whether to drink alcohol or not. She can make a good or bad choice. 2 books in 1 for independent reading children with difficulting in reading.  For children ages 11-17 years.

BurnsBooks are interactive.  The reader is introduced to a story in which the main character must make a decision.  The reader may choose one of two ways for that character to react.  Each choice is a complete ending for the book.  The reader may then return to the story and choose the alternate ending. ‘It’s Up toYou,’ the reader, to decide.

BurnsBooks are reader friendly.  Print is large and bold with greater spaces between sentences.  Scattered illustrations encourage imagination.  Themes vary, appropriate for younger or older readers.  Each book offers a choice of two endings, enabling the reader to complete a short book without being overwhelmed by page numbers.  Most importantly, BurnsBooks contain phonetically controlled vocabulary.  As many words as possible follow rules for consistent spelling and decoding to increase reader fluency.  Word lists and definitions to assist the reader are found at the back of each book.
