About the book.

“The Best of Me” is a collection of my favorite Sun newspaper columns I wrote from 2000-2009.  The book includes fiction, personal stories, and interviews with interesting people doing interesting things, such as my interview with Sanyo Blimp Pilot Alan Judd  at 1,000 feet over St. Charles.  Column titles include:  Barbie Doll’s Funeral,” “A Paradigm Shift from Oil to Sand,” “This Conspiracy Will Bowl You Over,” “ In our Identities We Trust,”The Secret of Life,” and “Camping Kindles the Love of a Lifetime.”
