The author, Dr Bernie Unrau DDS, following much personal plight, accidently stumbled across a 4 minute video by the prolific Robin Cook MD back in 1989 and how he wrote his best selling books usually in about 6 weeks each summer. The author declared, 'by God I can do that! and never looked back. The author's lengthy medical and dental education (ADA, American Dental Association # 122693972- 4 US curricula, 9 US Board Exams including post graduate studies, 3 post doc -Implantology, Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Medicine/Pharmacology, the Kenneth D. Rudd Continuing Dental Education Award from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, 10 years practice, 10,000 procedures, gratis, several medical dental papers published, has or has held memberships in the American Student Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy for Sports Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Pharmacology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Institute for Laser Dentistry, University Aviation Association flying - fixed wing and helicopter training,) and diverse pursuits inspired many of his harrowing tales. His 4 'Gumtex' dental surgical patents via peer reviewed presentations and table clinics, perhaps like a book signing ultimately went to 40 countries to train 4000 dentists, students and profs.
